Mildred E. (Long) Hamm

Born in Chicago, Illinois on Apr. 8, 1914
Departed on Mar. 24, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ.

Mildred E. Hamm, 91, of Cottonwood died March 24. She was born April 8, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Mervin and Anna Long.

She moved to Arizona in 1945. She was a member of the Verde Valley Christian Church. She enjoyed quilting, bible study, reading and hiking. In earlier years, she shared interests with husband, such as archery, camping trips and going to their cabin in Greer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth A. Hamm and a son, Kenneth J. Hamm.

Mrs. Hamm is survived by a son, M. Kent Hamm and a daughter, Holly Paulsen, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held March 28 in the Verde Valley Christian Church. Private burial was in the Sedona Community Cemetery.
