| June 09, 2007 Raymond Henry Dreessen RAYMOND HENRY DREESSEN MESA, Ariz. Raymond Henry Dreessen passed away June 3, 2007, in Banner Mesa Hospital after a long illness. He was born Aug. 22, 1926, to Hans and Helga Dreessen of Gladbrook, Iowa. Raymond was in the U.S. Air Corps from November 1945 through January 1947, serving in the South Pacific. He married his childhood sweetheart, Margaret Denbow on Sept. 21, 1947. They settled in Rockford, Ill., where Raymond worked as vice president of Illinois Machine Products for 39 years retiring in 1990. They moved to Mesa in 2001 and lived in the El Mirage Mobile Home Park. He was a member of Apache Wells Community Church, Mesa, and the American Legion. Raymond is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margaret, and sisters, Alma Gilchrist of Gladbrook, Iowa and Betty Weibenson of Mishicot, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be at Apache Wells Community Church at a later time. Memorials for Raymond may be sent to Apache Wells Community Church, 2115 North Gayridge Road, Mesa, AZ 85215.
