Jeffrey Lee Bodnar, Sr.

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Jeffrey Lee Bodnar Sr., also known to many as big Jeff, passed away at
his residence due to covid complications on December 17, 2020. He was
born September 2, 1964 in Fontana, California. His parents are John
Bodnar and Jerry Cowell Bodnar. Jeff attended schools in Fontana,
graduating from Fohi in 1983.

Jeff had a great passion for his football team, the 49ERS. When they
played you knew his team was on the field. He also loved watching the
baseball world series and basketball playoffs.

Jeff had a great love for his son Jeff Jr. You would find them
together dining out, travels to visit friends and family, plus
shopping for their special treats.

Jeff was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church. He was their candle
lighter on Saturday evenings, and he also helped out with collections
at times. He loved his church and all the wonderful people at church.

Jeff is survived by his parents, John and Jerry; big brother, John Jr.
Bodnar (Nina) of Las Vegas, Nevada; big sister, Jody Ann Garcia
(Kenny) of Laguna Beach, California; sons, Jeff Jr., Justin, Jordan of
Lake Havasu City; daughter, Jennifer Leann Douglas and son, Jarrod
Bodnar of Pennsylvania; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Mary Badida,
known as Baba; grandparents, John and Mary Bodnar, Robert and Vada
Cowell; plus, many family members.

Jeff Sr. had a heart of gold and he will be missed by many. Rest in
peace son.
