Robert Edward Dixon

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Robert Edward Dixon, known to his friends as “Bob”, passed away on
December 08, 2020 at the age of 92 in Lake Havasu, Arizona. He was
born in Britton, South Dakota on February 26, 1928 to Arthur James and
Lucile Clara Dixon.

Bob served his country in the United States Navy during World War II
and the Korean War. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from
California Polytechnic State University. He was a civil engineer and
worked for the California State Department of Water Resources;
Development and Resources Corp, Justin & Courtney, and M.K.
Engineering. During his career Bob worked in Iran, Indonesia, Sri
Lank, and Egypt.

Bob married his first wife, Elnora Nuckles in 1950 in Woodland,
California and they shared 38 years together. After Elnora passed
away, he was blessed to find love again, and married his second wife,
Marjorie Ellen Smith in Cody, Wyoming in 1993 and they were together
for 20 years. One of Bob's favorite past times was traveling with his
trailer.

Bob is preceded in death by both wives, Elnora, and Marjorie, his
parents; Arthur and Lucille, and his sister; Ardyce.

He is survived by his daughter; Anette (Bob) Showalter, brother;
Murray Dixon, sister; Marjorie Shafer, two grandchildren, two great-
grandchildren and loved friends, Tammy and Roger Edwards.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
