Born in Erie, West Virginia on June 25, 1924
Departed on March 22, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Betty T. Halvorsen, 81, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, march 22, 2006. She was born in Erie, West Virginia to Glenn and Elsie Toothman on June 25, 1924.

Betty was a member of the P.E.O., as well as the Sedona/Flagstaff Symphony Society.

Betty made her career at home as a mother and housewife; however, she was also very active in her community and volunteered countless hours to different orgainizations.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, William "Bill" Halvorsen; one daughter; two sons; 4 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three brothers. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:00am in Sedona, at the Church of the Red Rocks, where she and Bill were members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests all donations to be sent to the choir at the Church of the Red Rocks, 55 Bowstring Drive, Sedona, Ariz., 86336
