Published in Today's News Herald on Jan. 12, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Richard Paul MacGibbon, 75, passed away Jan. 1, 2021. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Lake Havasu City in 2012 after declaring that he would never shovel snow again. Richard retired from Sandia National Labs in Albuquerque. He loved fly fishing, woodworking, pinochle, poker, blackjack and enjoyed meeting with friends over a beer. He was member of the Eagles and most recently the Elks Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, sons Jeff (Nicole) and Michael, granddaughters, Kylee and Sidney and sister Karen Holle (Ervin) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Morris and Adela and brothers, Philip and Jim. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Havasu Community Food Bank, Acoma Executive Plaza, 94 Acoma Blvd S., Suite 101, Lake Havasu City AZ 86403. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. |
