Born in Phoenix, Arizona on Jan. 10, 1930.
Departed on Feb. 11, 2007 and resided in Cornville, Arizona.

Jim M. Hudson, 77, resident of Cornville, Arizona, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2007 in Prescott, Arizona.

He was born January 10, 1930 to Roy and Mary Hudson in Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended grade school at St. Francis Xavier, and graduated high school from St. Mary’s.

Jim was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and served as Airman First Class during the Berlin Airlift.

As a Colorado River Rafting Boatman, and a carpenter, he made his hobbies into a career. Not only did he enjoy boating, and camping and other outdoor activities that were a part of his work, but he also loved to hunt and fish, and spend time with his family and friends. Jim had a wonderful ability to make life fun.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hudson; and two brothers, Bob and Bill Hudson.

Jim leaves behind his son, David Hudson, wife, Tawnya, Clarkdale; his daughter, Brenda Rohloff, husband, Dan, Cornville; his brother, Jack Hudson, Phoenix; two sisters, Madeline Custis, S.D., and Kathleen Long, Phoenix; and six grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 1:00pm, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where Jim was proud to be a member.

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the Mass at the Page Springs Restaurant.
