Published in Today's News Herald on Feb. 21, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Judy DeLaquil went home to be with our Lord on Feb. 10, 2021 at Havasu Regional Medical Center from covid complications, with her family at her bedside. Judy was born in Los Angeles on September 4, 1942, to Alvin and Mary Klein. Judy was raised in South Gate, California and graduated from South Gate High School in 1960. Judy worked at North American Aviation and Rockwell International, which joined The Boeing Company, retiring as a cost analyst after 40 years. Following a six-week whirlwind romance, she married Nate DeLaquil on Jan. 30, 1973 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and remained so for the next 48 years. A native Californian, on Feb. 1, 2003, she moved with her husband to Lake Havasu City, living there for her remaining 18 years. Judy is survived by daughter, Debi Cramp and husband Paul; sons, Jack DeLaquil and wife Emily and Jeff DeLaquil and wife Jennifer. She leaves behind four grandsons: Garrett, Joe, Brent and Jake. She is preceded in death by her father, Alvin; mother, Mary; and brother, Johnny. In addition to gatherings with her family and friends, she enjoyed and pleasured in boating and other water toys, traveling and camping in the RV, off-roading, golf, and time with friends and family.
