| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, April 13, 1972, p. 16 Pedestrian Hit, Killed East Of Town An 82-year-old Tulsa, Oklahoma man was killed in a pedestrian-vehicle accident east of Wickenburg the night of April 6, the second fatal accident of its kind within the past six weeks. The Oklahoma victim, Robert C. Caney, accompanied by his wife Sylvia, had parked his car across the road from the Bristol Motel about 8:15 p.m. and had walked over to the motel to inquire about its fees. According to the Highway Patrol, he was returning to his car when struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Ernest Terrazas of Las Vegas, Nev. He was dead at the scene.
