Published in Today's News Herald on Apr. 4, 2021. Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Joe Willett passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 82 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama on November 14, 1938 to John and Ira Willett. Joe worked as a welder. He married his sweetheart, Barbara, on July 4, 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Joe lived in Menominee Falls, Hubertus, and West Allis, Wisconsin before moving to Lake Havasu City twenty-two years ago. They bought a ranch in the mountains of Arizona, and Joe loved going to the ranch and loved his "ranch family". Joe is preceded in death by his parents; John and Ira Willett, brothers; James L. Willett and Allen L. Willett, sisters; Kathleen Coco and Ila Ann Konkol, and grandson; Shawn Willett. He is survived by his loving wife; Barbara Willett, sons; Bradford and Jeffery Willett, sister; Patricia Buchanan, and one grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm with a reception to follow at the Willett Home. There will be a Memorial Service held at the cabin on Wagon Bow Ranch as well on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
