Published in Today's News Herald on Apr. 11, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Our beloved Mother, Marjorie Lorraine Riley, formerly Gustin, (née Silver) born on February 3rd 1922 in Merrill, Wisconsin joined our heavenly father on March 20th 2021 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at 99 years old. Marjorie married Edward A. Gustin in 1945 and soon were blessed with a large family of 6 children; 3 girls and 3 boys. She lived in Merrill, Madison, Tomahawk, Wauwatosa, Oak Creek and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 1970, the family moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. In 1990, she lost Edward. Eventually she remarried, Tom Riley who had a large family that she stayed close with. She loved living in Lake Havasu and was committed to the betterment of the community. She was a very active member at Our Lady of the Lake, Roman Catholic Parish and the London Bridge Lions Club where she performed community service. She loved travelling and saw Jerusalem, Rome, Switzerland, France and Germany. She delighted in the role of wife and mother. She devoted her life to her family and raising her children with patience, kindness, laughter and love. The love she had for Edward, her children, family and friends was boundless and apparent to all. As a grandmother, she bonded with her grandkids, tirelessly playing games, puzzles, crafts, and teaching them crochet and organ. Being a devout Christian, she shared her faith openly and led by example. She lived with integrity, trustworthiness, compassion, faith and carried out good works that glorified God. By letting her light shine for God, she led all of her children to Christ for their salvation. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Gustin, 2nd husband Tom Riley, her Son Daniel Gustin, Father Samuel Silver, Mother Margaret Mary Schaad. She is survived by her children; David and Michelle Gustin, Marnie and Mitch Robinson, Shirley and John Holt, Rose Fadrow and Bill Gustin. Grandkids; Dean Gustin, Derek Lother, Charity Holt, Landon Holt, Apryl Cutler, Sean Gustin, Crystal Rabine, Shannon Gustin, Ryan Fadrow and Theo Fadrow. 11 Great Grandkids, 2 Great-Great Grandkids and The Riley Family. |
