Franklin Emery Seif

Franklin E. Seif, 87, of Sun City, passed away on December 21, 2020.

He was born November 8, 1933 to Helen and Fred Seif Jr, in
Neillsville, WI. Frank's older brother Louis and sister Sylvia
preceded him in death. Frank served with the 82nd Airborne Division,
the 101st Airborne, and currently was an officer of the 508 Chapter of
the 82nd Airborne Division Association. During his years of service as
a paratrooper, Frank met Doris Underwood of Knoxville, TN. They
married in 1954. Frank went on to the U. of Wisconsin-Madison, to earn
his degree in counting, then his CPA: Over the span of his career,
Frank worked as a financial officer with such diverse companies
including Oscar Mayer, Northwestern Refining, Diamond's Dept. Stores,
and Bookmans Entertainment Exchange.

Growing up in Wisconsin, Frank enjoyed all varieties of outdoor
activities eg snow skiing, skating, boating, and camping, passing on
the love of these sports to his family. Frank also enjoyed road trip
travel across all parts of the U.S., and especially our National
Parks. (His dream job was to be a forest ranger) Frank was an avid
golfer since age 12 and throughout his Life (an understatement). He
was also an avid reader, which he led by good example to his children.
Over the years, Frank was a member of community service organizations
including Lions Club and Rotary Club.

Frank's wife of 58 years, Doris Ann, preceded him in death. Family
members left to mourn his passing are his children: Debra Sircar,
Beverly D'Romero, and David Seif, and Frank's grandchildren and great-
granddaughter. Frank, was fortunate to spend his last few years of
life with his second wife, Ruth, whom he married in 2.017, Frank
leaves behind his dear wife Ruth and her children Linda Shipp and
Tracey Connelly, and grandchildren who all grew to Love him. Frank
will be missed by all.

Frank will be interned in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at
a future date when it is safe to have a memorial gathering in his
honor.
