Published in Parker Pioneer from Apr. 22 to Apr. 23, 2021 - Parker, Arizona - Barbara Iris Ripberger of Parker, Ariz., died after a courageous battle with cancer on March 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by the love of her family. She went back to school and got her masters at Northern Arizona University in teaching and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was such an inspiration to many. Barbara spent 20 years teaching junior high at Wallace School. She was an amazing cook, avid gardener and talented artist. Barbara was stylish, beautiful and classy with a great sense of adventure. On her 60th birthday, she jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. She dreamed of learning to fly, and now she can fly with the angels, looking down on and telling us to put on our lipstick before we leave the house. Barbara will be truly missed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. |
