| Dorothy H. Moreland Born in Niagra Falls, New York on March 2, 1924. Departed on May 19, 2006 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona. Dorothy H. Moreland, 82, of Clarkdale died May 17, 2006. She was born March 2, 1924 in Niagra Falls, New York, the daughter of the late Harry and Lena Blount. She attended Niagra University and obtained a degree in nursing. She had a career as a nurse at the Niagra Falls Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Moreland was a volunteer at Verde Valley Medical Center. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and enjoyed reading, shopping, travel and spending time with her two sons. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Ernest James Moreland of Clarkdale; two sons, Richard James Moreland, wife Tami, Chandler, Ariz. and David Carl Moreland, wife Chongi, Enterprise; a brother Robert Carl Blount and four grandchildren. Memorial services were held on May 20, 2006. Donations in her memory may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Resureection, P.O. Box 2013, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
