Adam Newton Born in Camp Verde, Arizona on Nov. 16, 1945. Departed on Feb. 7, 2004 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona. Adam Newton, 58, of Camp Verde died February 7. He was born November 16, 1945 in Camp Verde, Arizona. Adam Newton was a loving and dedicated son to Virginia Newton. He was involved in Tribal tourism, Apache culture and held many Apache Social Dances on the Camp Verde Reservation. He enjoyed all music and social gatherings. He loved being around his family and all those who came into his home to visit. He is survived by his mother, Virginia S. Newton of Camp Verde; two sisters, Sally Newton and Rhoda Lennon, both of Camp Verde and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10 in the Yavapai-Apache Baptist 'Rock' Church on the Camp Verde Reservation, on Rt. 260 near Gen. Crook Trail. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 11 at the Church at 8 a.m. Burial will follow in the Yavapai-Apache Tribal Cemetery in Middle Verde. Westcott Funeral Home is directing arrangements.
