Raymond C. Pecharich, Sr.

Born in Jerome, Arizona on Sept. 13, 1921.
Departed on April 28, 2002 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Dr. Raymond C. Pecharich, Sr., 83, of Clarkdale died April 28, 2002.

Dr. Pecharich retired as a practising dentist in Clarkdale and Cottonwood for 35 years. He served on the Clarkdale City Council from 1957-1975 and served as Mayor of Clarkdale from 1971-1975. Dr. Pecharich was also was long term member and past president of the Mingus Union High School School Board. He also was a longtime member of the Jerome Lodge of Elks in Clarkdale.

A veteran of the US Army he served during World War II and Korea.

He was the husband of the late Anna L. Pecharich who died in 1987.

He leaves two daughters, Mary E. Smith, husband Grant and Anne Marie Ramsey, husband, Ernie; a son Raymond C. Pecharich, Jr., his wife Lynn; a brother, Matthew Pecharich and his wife, Eva; and seven grandchildren.

Recitiation of the Rosary will be Friday, May 3rd in St. Cecilia's Mission Church at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Church Saturday, May 4th at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery.

The family encourages donations in his memory to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, Arizona, 85014.
