Vera Bauer Vera Bauer, born in Hungary on August 5, 1905, a former homeowner and resident of Cottonwood since 1977, and current resident of at Kachina Point in the Village of Oak Creek since 2001, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the amazing age of 102. Vera was a homemaker and housewife. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Garden Club, and the Grandmother’s Club. She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Carl Bauer, who passed away in 2002. She leaves behind four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A Visitation will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Friday, October 12, 2007 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the Rosary beginning at 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
