Charlotte L."Charlie" Bennett, age 64, passed away and joined her
friends and family in Heaven on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 after a
courageous battle with Cancer. She was born on November 3, 1956 in
Ionia, Michigan to parents, Howard and Rose Moon.

Charlotte grew up in Ionia, Michigan where she graduated from Hanor
Country School and Ionia High School before earning a degree from Chic
University of Cosmetology in Grand Rapids, Michigan and returning to
Ionia to work. It was there that she met her loving husband of 47
years, Kirk Bennett (also from Ionia, Michigan) and raised her two
sons.

Charlotte was a "people person" who loved spending time with family
and friends and constantly created new friends and family every place
she lived. She loved to spend time with friends playing cards and
board games as well as an afternoon boating.

An entrepreneur by heart, she owned and operated a beauty salon in
Ionia for 30 plus years before moving with her husband to Arizona,
where she had careers as an interior design consultant and as a tax
advisor.

Charlotte is survived by her husband Kirk; her sons, Derek and Jason
whose family includes Leslie and daughter, Claire; sister, Marilyn
Simon; niece, Amber Simon-Brissette; and sister-in-law, Kelly Mendez.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 15,
2021 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Mohave Valley, Arizona.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life service in Ionia,
Michigan.
