| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, June 11, 2009 David Andrew Lay, 49, of Camp Verde, passed away June 8, 2009. He was born September 2, 1959 to David J. and Carmen Lay in Cottonwood, AZ. David grew up in Flagstaff attended Flagstaff Public Schools graduating from Flagstaff High School. He received degrees from both Eastern Arizona Collage and Northern Arizona University. All of his degrees were related to Criminal Justice. He was a band member while he attended NAU. He worked as a Security Guard for NAU and the Department of Corrections. He is survived by his son David Jay Lay of Glendale, AZ and his father David J. Lay of Camp Verde, AZ. A visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Norvel Owens Mortuary followed by a Graveside Service starting at 11 a.m. at the Citizens Cemetery in the Odd Fellows Section.
