The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, June 09, 2009 Norman F. Simon, 76, of Cottonwood, AZ, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009. Born March 31, 1933 in Washington D.C, Norman served in the U.S. Air Force and later earned his BA in Economics from the University of Maryland. Norm was passionate about his career as Consultant for the Food Service Industry and worked with Pappas Restaurants for the past 15 years. He earned deep respect in his professional and personal life for strong ethics and integrity and was mentor to many. His family and friends regarded him highly for his dedication to those he loved. Everybody loves Norm. Norm is survived by his daughters Marla Simon of Cottonwood, AZ and Beth Simon of Oakland, CA, brother Ronald Simon of Bowie, MD, and former wife Susan Holen of Spokane, WA. A memorial service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
