| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, June 06, 2009 Dorothy Loraine Tenny, 79, Austin House resident, died June 3, 2009. She was born January 9, 1930 Rochester, New York, the daughter of Bernard and Evelyn Masterston Lays. Dorothy and her husband Bob raised their 5 children in New Hamlin, NY. She loved children, her dogs, music, singing, dancing, playing Bingo, and cards. Moving to Arizona in 1980, Dorothy quickly became a dedicated member of Valley Christian Fellowship and Bread of Life. Living courageously with many health issues, she still generously opened her heart and home to those in need. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Tenny in 1993. Dorothy leaves daughters Andrea Schultz (Harold) of Tennessee, Diana (Greg) Lucero of California, sons David,(Sandra Stark) Tenny, John Tenny and Tom (Tammy) Tenny of Camp Verde, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Bueler Funeral Home, Camp Verde on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Burial with family will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bread of Life, Camp Verde, 567-6931. Information provided by survivors. |
