Teddy Ronald Wood passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2021, surrounded by his wife of 70 years, Barbara Wood; and his sons Ron and Mark and his daughters-in-law Joann Wood and Laurie Wood. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his sister Judy Barbee. His parents were Ted and Florence "Toots" Wood. Ted is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters-in-law, 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Additionally, he has 14 granddaughters and sons-in-law.

Ted was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and moved with his family to Wickenburg at 8 years of age. He graduated from Wickenburg High School. It was in Wickenburg that he met the love of his life, the former Barbara Willis, in the sixth grade. They became sweethearts during his senior year of high school. They were married after she graduated from high school. Ted studied at the University of Arizona and worked for Arizona Public Service for over 37 years. He was president of the Lions Club and was active in other charitable and civic organizations. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many different callings. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building located at 325 W. Coral Gables, Phoenix on Saturday Aug. 28, 2021 with visitation at 10 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11 a.m. For more information and a more complete life history please refer to www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory.
