Beverly Jean (Green) Stewart

Beverly J. Green Stewart was born to Earl and Dorothy Green on August 31, 1946 in El Centro, California. She passed away peacefully in her sleep August 24, 2021 in Prescott, Arizona following a valiant fight with Alzheimer's disease. Beverly attended El Centro Local Schools including Harding Elementary, Wilson Junior High and graduated with Central Union Highs class of 1964. Bev worked for Tesco engineering and Case Power and Equipment of El Centro. She married Jimmy Stewart on August 1, 1980 and moved to San Diego, California where she worked for San Diego Tribune as a bookkeeper. Her husband was transferred to El Paso, Texas in 1982 where she lived for one year before packing again as they were transferred to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was not unpacked before being transferred to Phoenix, Arizona in 1983. There she was able to settle down and enjoy traveling with her husband as he traveled to various locations with his work as District Manager with Sears. Beverly and Jim moved to Kirkland, Arizona in 2000 when Jim retired. Beverly was self employed as a Bookkeeper and tax preparation service until her retirement in 2015. Beverly was very active in her church and the Kirkland Women's Club where she served as both Vice Chair and Chairman. Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Dorothy Green, son Kenneth Whitt, brothers Earl Green and Wesley Truesdale. Beverly is survived by her husband; Jimmy Stewart, of Kirkland, AZ., Brother Melvin and wife Patsy Green of Banning, California along with numerous nieces. It broke our hearts' to lose you but you did not go alone, part of us went with you the day God called you home. Beverly was a beautiful soul with a beautiful smile who is finally home. She will be missed by all that knew her.

A Celebration of Beverly's life will be held at a later date.
