Lewis Brent was born Dec. 10, 1934 in Glendale, CA. He died at home, May 20, 2009 in Rimrock, AZ.

He grew up in So. Ca. After 5 years service in the US Navy he worked as a pressman in the LA area, as well as in Detroit and Cleveland.

After 21 years at Anheuser-Busch, Van Nuys, he retired to Rimrock, AZ. He served on the Board of Directors for the Beaver Creek Kiwanis where he received numerous awards. He served as a deacon at Beaver Creek Baptist Church.

He leaves his wife of 22 years Gerry Haskins-Brent, two sons: Drew(Karen) of Saugus CA, Stanley of Fort Worth TX, two daughters, Jelena and Sharleen of Canyon Country, CA., Diana Bell(Ed) of Lake Montezuma and Jeri Roush (Dan) of North Hollywood, CA. are his sisters. He has one grandson, Andrew Brent II and two granddaughters, Mickaela and Tiffany, two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Rosemarie Johnson and by his father, Andy Brent of the Burbank, Ca Fire Dept. His mother, Evelyn Farr Brent, was a great-granddaughter of Lorin Farr, pioneer of Ogden UT, who was pictured at the driving of the golden spike at the transcontinental railway in 1869.

Memorial services will be June 10, 2009, at 10:30 at the Beaver Creek Baptist Church in Rimrock, AZ. Burial was May 28, 2009 at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills, CA. Information provided by family members.
