On Friday, October 1, 2021, Rebecca Suzanne Duffey, loving wife and
mother to two children, passed away at the age of 45.

Rebecca was born on August 11, 1976, in West Covina, CA, to Robert and
Arlene Duffey.

Rebecca had the most beautiful, generous soul. Her passion for helping
others, incredible patience and selflessness, and infectious spirit were
evident to all who knew her. Children always flocked to her, whether she
was on a mission trip or working in the local community. Rebecca was an
incredibly talented and creative individual. It wasn't unusual to hear
her singing praise and worship songs as she moved through her day. She
played guitar and sang, often leading worship for her church. Rebecca
was a prolific writer. Deeply sensitive and insightful words, poems, and
short stories flowed out of her pen with ease. Rebecca also had a zest
for life. She was daring and athletic, and you would often find her
bruised and scraped from a recent adventure. She was very competitive
and always strived for first place. Rebecca grew up in and around a
nursery, and gardening brought her immense peace and joy. She spent
countless hours in her garden teaching Grant how to tend to all the
living things under her care. Rebecca was committed to her family first.
It was no secret she would go to the ends of the earth for them. Her
love for her wife is boundless and eternal. Above all else was her
steadfast love for Jesus Christ, from which she never wavered.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene, and her father,
Robert. She is survived by her wife Rebecca, two children Grant and
Jude, siblings Matthew and Shari, Aunts Maire and Caroline, Uncle BJ,
and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021, at St.
Michaels United Methodist Church on Jamaica in Lake Havasu City at 2:00
p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Havasu Community Health
Foundation Parkinson's Strong and Steady Program. Help keep Rebecca's
dream, and the community program that she was so passionate about,
alive.

Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory.
