Published by Today's News Herald on Oct. 13, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Michele Nicole Bravata, 63, of Lake Havasu City, passed away, Monday, Sept. 27, 2021, at Havasu Regional Medical Center. Michele was born Sept. 3, 1958, in Los Angeles to Robert and Georgette (Roman) Waggoner. On Feb. 24, 2009 she married John Joseph Bravata in Las Caletas, Puerto Vallarta. Michele was a cherished local real estate agent and broker in both the La Mirada and Lake Havasu City regions for nearly 40 years. She loved her clients and called them family. She retired only months prior to her passing. She enjoyed the thrill of competition and participated in many sports throughout her lifetime including bowling, golfing, volleyball, softball, and basketball. She was an avid adventurist, and enjoyed boating, water skiing, snow skiing, off-roading at Glamis Dunes with her friends, and Caribbean vacations with her family. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, VFW and Elks Lodge for many years and enjoyed karaoke and gathering with friends and family. Her one true passion above all else was spending time with her beloved husband John, as well as her children and Grandchildren. Michele is survived by her husband John; son Christopher Baker, and his wife, Theresa of Berthoud, Colorado; daughter LaNae McIlree, and her husband, Morgan of Grasonville, Maryland; daughter Gina Bravata, and her husband, Sal Gonzalez of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Kari Dunlop, and her husband, Kenneth of Lake Havasu City; seven grandchildren, Reyna and Vincent Baker, Kailyn and Dylan McIlree, Bella Gonzalez, and Olivia and Kira Schusler; and three brothers, Douglas, David and Gregory Waggoner of Lake Havasu City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Georgette Waggoner. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Havasu Lanes, 2134 McCulloch Blvd N, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. In remembrance of Michele's life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the VFW, 266 London Bridge Rd, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. |
