Published by Today's News Herald on Oct. 13, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona >> Jan. 1943 - Oct. 3, 2021 << Sadly my sweetheart and best friend of 52 years, O'Bob passed away in Show Low. He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to John and Minnie Radu, and married Loretta in 1969 in Calgary, Alberta. Bob was in the graphic arts trade in various positions all his life starting out as a linotype operator and finally as a salesman for Jet Printing, traveling to the Laughlin Casinos daily for 13 years. When Bob and Loretta originally purchased their home here as a vacation home 40 years ago, they could be seen on the golf course six days a week during their winter visits. Eventually moving to Havasu permanently, they gained U.S. Citizenship in 2003. Bob later enjoyed RV traveling, cruising and especially Happy Hours with all the dear friends that were so special to him. He was a past president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4299, a member of the Elks Club #2399, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion #284 and the Eagles Roamers RV Club. Bob is survived by Loretta, son Dean (Nikki), daughter Kim (Yves), stepdaughter Tracy (Doug), 12 grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother John, sister Mary and daughter Leah. He is gone and missed dearly, but will never be forgotten, especially his "Bobisms." Arrangements were placed in the care of Owens Livingston Mortuary in Show Low. |
