Clova Mae (Lybarger) Howard

Clova Mae Howard, 84 of Granite City, Ill., born on December 28, 1928,
in Madison, Ill., passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013, at her home.

Mrs. Howard was a lifetime homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member
of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Clova enjoyed watching old
black and white westerns on TV and was a huge St. Louis Cardinals
baseball fan. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her
family and the many special time shared together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Jr., whom she
married on October 25, 1947; her parents, Charles and Nancy "Nanny," nee
Jones, Lybarger; a daughter, Robyn Tongay; a sister, Ruth Nichols; and
two brothers, Leonard Lybarger and Jimmy Lybarger.

Surviving are and will be missed by her daughters, Cara (Rick) Ahlvers
of Granite City, Ill., and Shay (Bill) Ethen of McGregor, Minn.; a son,
William Howard III; three sisters, Shirley Rapoff, Charlene Burns and
Janice Rice; three brothers, Bud Lybarger, Ronnie Lybarger and Courtland
Lybarger; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: In celebration of her life a memorial gathering will be held
from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Harvest Community
Church, Granite City, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16,
2013, Harvest Community Church, 4651 State Rt. 162, in Granite City,
Ill., with Pastor Roy Boyer officiating.
