The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona November 23, 2002 Leon "Kip" Zally, 51, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on Nov. 21, 2002. Born in Longview, Washington, on Sept. 30, 1951, he moved to Arizona 47 years ago from California. He was a Navy veteran and a construction contractor. He loved camping, fishing and the outdoors, and also surfing. He is survived by his wife, Sandra daughter Chelsea mother, Arloa Jeanne Downey and sisters, Linda Ingram and Tina Darville. Service was held on Mon., Nov. 25, 2002, at Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
