| Published by Today's News Herald on Oct. 24, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Sharon Bowers, 65, passed away at Gem's Assisted Living with her husband and family by her side. Born in Ohio, the daughter of George and Barbara Platt. She moved to Lake Havasu City in 1992 and worked in several retail shops in the area. She loved her dogs (babies), camping, a great party and working with the public. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Steve Bowers, Sister Gloria Weatherford, and Brother Mark Platt. Children: Heather Joyce and Tawnya Merrick. Stepchildren: Christy Collier, Charles Bowers and Angel Petty. 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her Father George Platt, Mother Barbara Healy and Brother George Platt (Georgie). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to River Valley Hospice. Funeral services provided by Bradbury Memorial Center. |
