The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Tuesday, May 26, 2009 Jesse Dominguez, 74, of Cottonwood died May 24. He was born October 20, 1934 in Phoenix, the son of Jesus Mason Dominguez and Armida Olguin Dominguez. He served his country as a sergeant with the Military police in Germany in 1955. Mr. Dominguez was the owner of Old Town Cottonwood's Leaf Line/Arizona Chili. He previously owned Dominguez Bargain Yard. He was currently operating the Dominguez Ranch. Mr. Dominguez was the chili king, a master grower of chili, tomatoes, corn, trees and fruit. He enjoyed 4-wheeling around his orchard and fields with his grandson Joseph and being with his family. A true renaissance man who was loved by all and willl be forever remembered. He leaves his wife of 25 years, Judy Dominguez; daughters Lisa Kaiser (Steve) of Chandler, Joy C. Dominguez of Marana and Jill H. Dominguez (Jerry) of Cottonwood; fifteen brothers and sisters and four grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 30 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Azteca Lodge Cemetery.
