Ray Harold Timmins Born in Des Moines, Iowa on May 19, 1921. Departed on Dec. 12, 2003 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Ray Harold Timmins, 82, of Cottonwood died December 12. He was born May 19, 1921 in Des Moines, Iowa. Mr. Timmins was a veteran of the US Army. He was the former owner and operator of Cottonwood Optical. He was a member of the Plymouth Brethern and performed many years of mission work especially at the Montezuma Indian School where he would make glasses for the students. He leaves his wife, Helen Timmins; daughters, Charlotte Armstrong, Alameda, Calif., Virginia Penfield, Richland, Wash. and Elaine Gammell, Portland, Wash.; sons, Harold Timmins, Tracy, Calif. and Gordon Timmins, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother Roy A. Timmins; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in the Westcott Funeral Home on December 16. Burial was in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
