Ernestine (Cahill) Limon

Ernestine "Tina" C. Limón, 91, a native of Arizona, passed away
peacefully at her home on August 23, 2011. Tina, the daughter of
Santiago "S.L." L. Cahill and Ramona Gonzales Cahill, was born in
Phoenix on February 28, 1920.

Tina grew up in Phoenix, having graduated from Monroe Elementary School,
Phoenix Union High School, and Gregg Shorthand College. Tina married Joe
M. Limón of Tempe, Arizona in December 1940, and resided in Tempe since
then. Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, who passed away in
2002; by her son, Joseph A. who died in 2003; and by her siblings,
Barney Cahill, James Cahill, and Ruth "Cuca" Cahill. Tina is survived by
3 sisters, Esther Blanco, Virginia Sanchez, and Ramona Hildebrand; 7
children (Mary Therese Wynn, Michael James Limón, David Thomas Limón,
Mark Francis Limón, Peter Zachary Limón, John Phillip Limón and Monica
Anne Limón-Wynn; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-
great-grandchildren. Visitation from 5-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August
31, 2011 at Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Road, Tempe, followed by
a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Carr-Tenney. Funeral Mass on Thursday,
September 1, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 2121 S.
Rural Road, Tempe, with procession immediately following the Mass to St.
Francis Cemetery in Phoenix for burial.
