Published by Today's News Herald from Nov. 20 to Nov. 21, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Robert Arnold Hede was born August 20, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN. He passed away November 8, 2021 in Vancouver, WA. Bob spent the majority of his childhood in Edina, MN. In September, 1964 Bob married Verneil (Neil). They had 2 sons they raised in Eden Prairie. They enjoyed skiing and snowmobiling in Steamboat Springs, CO and time at the family cabin on Grindstone Lake. Bob enjoyed his retirement years golfing. They spent 16 winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ enjoying the weather with wonderful friends. Bob was a project manager in commercial construction. He started with Peterson and Hede Company. In 1983 he did consulting for the Minnesota Board of Lathing and Plastering contractors, and ended his career with Conroy Olympic. The biggest project he worked on was the Mall of America. Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Neil and sons Chris (Karen) and Kirk. He is also survived by Brother Gary Hede (JoAnne Zachow) and Sister Vicki Hede, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Martha Hede and sister Sharon Davis. A celebration of Bob's life will be planned at a later date. |
