GLENDALE--Services for George O. Dowdy, 92, who died yesterday in his home, 7013 N. 61st Ave., will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Chapel of the Chimes, 5852 W. Glenn Drive. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Dowdy was born in Conway, Ark., and came to Glendale 55 years ago from Texas. He had been foreman 14 years at the Rudolph Johnson Ranch, worked for the City of Glendale 11 years, had been a security officer at Luke AFB during World War II, and self employed until retiring in 1960.

Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Verna Carman and Mrs. Nadine Martin both of Glendale; two sons, William C. of Los Angeles and John T. of Prescott; seven grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
