TERESA (MUSSO) NORTH, 47 CHANDLER, Ariz.

Teresa (Musso) North, 47, of Chandler, Ariz., and formerly of Rockford, Ill., passed away Monday, July 2, 2007, in Scottsdale Healthcare Center after a courageous three-year battle with melanoma cancer. She was born May 9, 1960, in Swedish-American Hospital, Rockford, to Grace and Mariano (Mike) Musso.

Teresa attended Rolling Green Grade School, Flynn Middle School and graduated from Jefferson High School, where she was a member of the pom-pom squad. Teresa moved to Chandler, Ariz., in 1995, and it has been her home ever since.

She married Scott North of Rockford and Chandler, on June 9, 2001, in St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she was a member.

Survivors include her husband; and parents; as well as her sister, Pam Moore; brother, Greg Musso; father- and mother-in-law, Earl (Gloria) North; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends who were blessed to have her in their lives for a far too short time. She was a true angel, and we'll share our love for a lifetime.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, in St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Interment in Willwood Burial Park.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, in Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, with a Christian Wake Service to be recited at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation.
