Born in Milesburg, Illinois on Dec. 9, 1930.
Departed on Jan. 23, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Gilbert Leroy Cooper, 75, of Cottonwood, AZ, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006. He was born in Milesburg, Illinois on December 9, 1930 to Leonard and Bessy Cooper.

Gilbert attended the Brad View Academy, Varies School of Trade and Wisconsin State University.

Gilbert utilzed his wonderful talents as a master craftsman, carpenter, electrician, cement mason and mechinist to become a Handyman (Journeyman) of all crafts and all trades.

He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Christian Church and at one time, he was an active Elder.

Gilbert enjoyed the outdoors, he loved camping and the many other activities that being outside provided. Another hobby of his was photography.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Hilda Cooper; sons, David L. Cooper, New Zealand, Steven L. "Dawn" Cooper, Fort Worth, Tx., and Randall W. Cooper of Camp Verde, Ariz.; daughters, Nancy E. Eisele, Klamath, Calif., Juile A. Repass, Montana, and Patrisha Rose Marie Graves, Camp Verde, Ariz.; brothers, Jim Cooper, Samuel Cooper, both from Phoenix, Ariz., and Fred Cooper; his sister, Rosie Gibbs, Ok.; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
