Published by Today's News Herald on June 24, 2016 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - (Aug. 19, 1941-June 18, 2016) Casey Goeske, 74, passed away June 18 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Aug. 19, 1941. Casey grew up in Palm Springs, Calif., and managed Wil Wrights Ice Cream Parlor before opening her famous “Casey’s Code 7” restaurant in Cathedral City. She and her husband, Jim, moved to Lake Havasu City. She loved to go on boat rides and water ski. She was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jim Goeske, daughters Deborah Lynn Jackson and Kimberly Gilham, grandchildren Jeremy and Daniel Gilham, sisters Jackie Burkhart, Joan Langwell and Susan Tavares and seven nieces and nephews.
