Floriana Hanna, was an angel here on Earth but on Wednesday, December 1,
2021, she gained her Heavenly wings. After a yearlong battle with lung
cancer, she succumbed to a complication of the disease, at the age of
66.

Floriana was born February 4, 1955, to Glen and Finevia Morris in Great
Lakes, Illinois. With her father being in the Navy, they traveled all-
over the United States before settling down in Upland, California, where
she graduated from Upland High in 1973. On, July 27, 1974, she married
Raymond Clyde Hanna, Jr. In 1984, they decided to settle down in Lake
Havasu City, Arizona, to raise together their son, Christopher, and
daughters, Shanta’ and Raelene.

Her true pride and joy came shining through in 1985 when her dreams came
true by opening Guiding Light Christian Educational Center, which is
still a thriving part of Lake Havasu today. Her lasting love,
compassion, and commitment will be her forever legacy, not only in the
childcare field but in dog rescue as well.

She captured the hearts of all who knew her and even those she never had
the chance of meeting in person. She was so much more than just a
person; she was the utter meaning of having a heart of gold! Floriana
had a way of lighting up any room with her soft smile and gentle heart.
She had a remarkable ability of making people feel loved, heard, and
comfortable without even trying. All creatures big and small loved her,
and she loved the world as well.

She wasn’t just our mom, grandma, sister, aunt, mentor, or friend; she
was everyone's. Floriana was a pillar in our life, our family, and our
community. She was thoroughly beautiful inside and out, and we now know
that every time we see a magnificent sunset or a beautiful rainbow, that
is her love still radiating around us!

After only one year, Floriana is reunited with the love of her life,
Raymond Clyde Hanna Jr., to be together for the rest of eternity. She is
also preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Finevia Morris, and
grandparents, Giovanni and Lidia DiCenso.

She leaves behind her children, Chris Hanna (Megan LaPlaca), Shanta’
Abbott (Jeremy Abbott), and Raelene Hanna (Daniel Nix); her six
beautiful grandchildren, Brentyn and Deserae Hanna, Emma and Averie
Abbott, and Caydence and Morgan Nix; her siblings, Adriana Morris,
Juliana Mark, Dan Morris, John Morris, and so many family and friends
too numerous to list but not forgotten.

All that knew her know that these words are not enough to even begin to
express how much she meant or how great of a loss we have endured.
Although, we are now left with the love we hold dear to our hearts and
our own thoughts and memories of this amazing person.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Lietz-
Fraze Funeral Home at 3:00pm. Immediately following, we will be
celebrating Floriana’s life from 4:30-9:00pm at the London Bridge Resort
in the Convention Center. For those of you that are unable to attend you
