Marie A. Demond Born in Canyon, Texas on May 13, 1941 Departed on Dec. 7, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Marie A. Demond, 66, resident of Cottonwood, was relieved of her pain and suffering and called home by our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 7, 2007. She was born May 13, 1941 in Canyon, Texas to Choice and Louise Dalton. Marie spent much of her life in California before retiring to Cottonwood in 1994. She was a member of the Verde Valley Christian Church and the Women of Moose. Marie loved to quilt and cook - and brought joy and smiles with her creations. She was a loving soul who was always there when you needed her – the hearts of her family and friends will be a long time mending. She is survived by her husband, Roland Demond, Cottonwood; daughter, Denise Foster, husband, Dan, Cottonwood; son Scott Gray, Tenn.; two brothers, Choice Dalton, Wash., and Eddie Dalton, Calif.; her sister, Deborah Dalton, Austin, Tx.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service honoring her life is planned for Friday, December 14, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel of the Verde Valley, 465 S. Calvary Way in Cottonwood.
