VIRGINIA M. ARBOGAST, 94 CHANDLER, Ariz. - Virginia M. Arbogast, 94, of Chandler, Ariz., died Thursday, July 12, 2007, in Grace Manor. She was born July 27, 1912, in Freeport, Ill., the daughter of William C. and Mabel Duth Edler.

She attended Harlem School and graduated from Freeport High School in 1930. She was a member of Embury United Methodist Church and served as executive director of the Stephenson County Chapter, American Red Cross.

Freeport was her home until she and her husband, Ray, moved to Rockford in 1959. They retired to Arizona in 1978.

Virginia is survived by a son, Richard (Terry) of Gainesville, Fla.; daughter, Nancy McKee of Rockford; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; and four sisters.

Burial will be in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, Ariz. A memorial fund has been established in her name at Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656.
