Published by Yuma Sun on May 20, 2022 - Yuma, Arizona - Louise M. Robles, age 48, a devoted, protective and loving mother, began her journey home at exactly 4:20 in the morning on May 17, 2022. She was born in November 1973 in Phoenix, AZ. Louise graduated from San Pasqual High School, attended Haskell College and graduated from Idaho State University. She worked for the Quechan Indian Tribe as the manager of Hub Liquor. Ms. Robles was a kindhearted woman who many saw as a mother figure. Louise would take anyone under her care when they had nowhere else to go. Her favorite sports to play were softball, volleyball and basketball. The New York Yankees, the San Francisco 49ers, along with Michael Jordan were her favored teams and person to watch. Louise is survived by her dad, Louis D. Robles (Sheryl Ferro) of Yuma; daughter Darlene Teton and son-in-law Larry Rodriguez, Jr; son Burns Teton; grandkids Eunice Thomas, Leia Teton, Hazel Rodriguez and Larry A. Rodriguez; Aunts Ruby Johnson, Leonora Warner, Gail Johns and Armida Brown; Cousins Stephanie Johnson, Sylvia Robles, Jennifer Leanna, Roberta Johnson, Justeen Murphee, Missy Whitepigeon and many more aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Darlene Robles; grandmothers Rose Marie Taylor and Betty Lou Robles; grandfathers Louis M. Robles and Stanley L. Warner; uncles Darrel Jay Miguel, Richard Ricky Charles Robles, and Joseph Robles; aunts Anita Robles, Louise Kelly, and Jeanne Whitepigeon; cousins Richard Anthony Robles and Marlow Potato Jose. Pallbearers will be Burns L. Teton, Larry F. Rodriguez, Jr., James Robles, Alvin Robles, Mark Johnson, Brandon Pena, Eric Johnson, Matthew Casa, and Leo Alvarez. Honorary pallbearers are Louis D. Robles, Terrance Teton, Angelo Teton, Paul Whitepigeon, Jr., Levi Jose, Jarod Johnson and Karlo Pena. The viewing will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Yuma Mortuary from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Tribal services at Quechan Big House will begin at 8:00 pm with cremation at 5:00 am. Her final resting place will be Quechan Cemetery.
