Departed on May 14, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Roma L. Hamrick, 78, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away at home on Monday, May 14, 2007. She was born March 15, 1929 in Springfield, Illinois to James and Annie Hamrick.

After graduating high school, Roma went on to obtain her education as a LPN, following which, she worked as a nurse in the Springfield, Illinois area. In 1977 she moved to the Verde Valley where she then worked at the Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital until her retirement in 1994.

In her spare time, Roma enjoyed reading and painting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Hamrick; her brothers, Leonard, Shearl and Frank, her sisters, Nancy, Oakley and Velma.

She leaves behind her only nephew, James Hamrick, wife, Ruby, Miss.

A Memorial Service will be held at Westcott Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
