| Published by Today's News Herald on Aug. 7, 2022 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Crystal Irene Jones peacefully passed away at home in Lake Havasu City on Aug. 1, 2022 at the age of 90. She was born in Monrovia, California on Sept. 5, 1931 to Elmer and Adah James and grew up in Southern California. She was married at age 21 to Howard "Smokey" Jones and together they raised four children. Preceding her in death are Howard (husband), Daniel and Mark (sons), Leslie Anderson (granddaughter), and her best friend Marie George. Crystal is survived by her daughters Diana and Lynda (Bob) and Debbie Talley Jones (daughter-in-law). Her grandchildren Melissa (Anthony), Mandy (Ryan), Jason (Kym), Paul (Toni), Julie (Jon), Cheryl (Brandon), David (Andrea), Crystal (Matthew), Paul and sixteen great-grandchildren.
