| The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona November 23, 2007 Albert Francis Cope, 83, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully in his home on November 18, 2007. He served our country in World War II where he participated in the "Battle of the Bulge." He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. Albert was a U.S. Postal Service employee for 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Arlene, daughters Sandy Dailey (Michael) of Gilbert, Cindy Jones (Rick) of Phoenix and son Michael (Carmen) of El Cajon, CA, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation was held Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., in Scottsdale. A graveside service followed at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale. The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice of Arizona for their extraordinary care and attention during a difficult time for the family.
