Bo Peep was born on her family farm in Gadsden, Arizona to Henry and Betty Frauenfelder along with her three sisters Marie Meichi, Rachel, Ruthie and brother Roger. After graduating from Yuma High School in 1950, she soon married Bill R. Penny and raised four children together: Robin (Havins), Billy, Jeff and John. She was a 25 year loyal employee of the University of Arizona Experimental Station. She was fun-loving, kind hearted and a wonderful lady whose smile would light up a room. Bo Peep is proceeded in death by her husband Bill and daughter Robin. She is survived by her three sons Billy, Jeff and John, 11 grandchildren Sarah, Jake, Kate, Leigh, Liam, Colin, Emily, Sidney, Jack, Gigi and Grace with 15 great-grandchildren and one arriving soon to carry on her legacy. Our family is full of gratitude for her three caregivers Shantell, Noemi and Maria. They are true angels. We also want to thank the Hospice of Yuma for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of Yuma in her honor. Services will be held Friday September 16, 2022 at 9:00 am at Johnson's Mortuary. We love you, Bo Peep.
