Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Nov. 30 to Dec. 1, 2022 - Bullhead City, Arizona >> DEBORAH "DEBBY" ANN GORMAN << Early Saturday, October 1, 2022 Deborah (Debby) Ann Gorman completed her 19 month Pancreatic cancer journey and went home to her personal Savior, Jesus Christ in Heaven. Debby was born September 2, 1955 in Eugene, Oregon to Lenora Faye Faulds. During her lifetime Debby lived in Eugene, Oregon, Anchorage and Juno, Alaska, Las Vegas, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona. She graduated from East Anchorage High School in June 1973. She attended and worked at the University of Alaska at Juno during the 70's for approximately 5 years. After moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, Debby worked at both the Golden Nugget and Wynn Casinos. She worked at the Riverside Resort and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada for 15 years while living in Bullhead City, Arizona. Debby was married and divorced twice but was blessed with a step- daughter, also named Debi, during her 1st marriage in Alaska. Debby was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Linnea Rose Zimmerman; mother, Lenora Faye Faulds; and grandmother, Margaret Cypert Faulds. She is survived by the following family: Sheryll and Jess McNutt; step- daughter, Debi K. Martin; son-in-law, Cory Martin; and grandson, Matthew Kitchens; plus many friends from her church, the Riverside Casino and the community. There will be a Celebration of Life for Debby at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at her home church, Valley Christian Church, 1706 E. North Oatman Road, Bullhead City, AZ (928)758-2699, with a reception immediately following in the church hall. www.valleychristianbhc.com. We wish to thank everyone at Billet Home Health & Hospice - especially her nurses, CNA and PT therapists plus Scott Ewing, FNP-BC, her personal physician for all their loving care during this journey. Also, Drs' Steve and Kellie Rosinski and they're staff at the Phoenix Cancer Center in Bullhead City, AZ as well as Dr Rajesh Ramanathan at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society earmarked for Pancreatic Cancer Research in Debby's name. |
