Bradbury Memorial Center - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - On Saturday, November 26th, Diane L. Gibbs, beloved wife and mother, passed away. She was 75. Born on July 6th, 1947, in Portland, OR and her father, Robert Britton, was in the Airforce. Because of this, Diane, her father, her mother Louise Britton, sister Barbara, and brother Reb lived in many places around the world including Turkey and Korea. When Diane's father was stationed in Grand Forks, ND, she attended Devils Lake Junior College and caught the eye of her roommate's brother, Roy Gibbs. They married and had 1 day shy of 52 years together. Diane gave birth to 6 children and was a devoted mother. Diane and Roy lived throughout Utah, Wyoming, and Montana and eventually planted roots in Billings, Montana for 31 years. After the kids were raised she and her husband traveled with their RV that she loved and then she and Roy decided to live permanently in Lake Havasu City, AZ in the fall of 2018. Diane is survived by her husband, Roy, and their children, Carrie, Candi, Casey, Calvin, and Cameron. She is preceded in death and will join her youngest daughter, Carly, her brother, Reb, and her parents. Diane will be cremated in Lake Havasu City, AZ, and at her request there will be no funeral or memorial service. "But as God calls us one by one the chain will link again." -Ron Tranmer |
