A-6 Sue A Gilbert Feb. 17, 1946 - Oct. 20, 2022 She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dennis Gilbert, three children, Kimberly Gilbert, Jeffrey Gilbert (Nanette) and Ryan Gilbert (Amy), brothers, Dan Felton, Wayne Felton, and Blayne Felton. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaylord "Bud" and Eileen Felton. During her 40 years of residency in Wickenburg Ariz., her work life was as a medical records secretary at The Meadows. Later she was a general manager locating housing for Meadows family week participants. She served as a member and officer of Soroptimist International Wickenburg for 27 years and was a member of the Laurel Society. Notable is her extensive angel decorations in her home. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and pinocle, which brought her and those around her glee, fun and appreciation for her beautiful nature. When asked, she responded, "Well, I just knew Jesus very early on." She loved being blessed to visit her family wherever they moved, with joyous summer RV'ing to their doorstep for the past 25 years. Memorial gifts may be made to National Alliance for Mental Illness, Young Life, Soroptimist International, or Boys and Girls Society in Portland Ore. |
