Ann D. Pickard Jenkins Born in Ashland City, Tennessee on Oct. 7, 1924. Departed on Feb. 4, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Ann Pickard Jenkins, resident of Cottonwood, Ariz., passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006. She was born in Ashland City, Tenn., to Obed and Lela Pickard. She attended UCLA. Ann performed in the Grand Ol' Opry, and was the last suriving member of the Pickard Family Musical Group, and was known as "Baby Ann". She starred in "The Pickard Family" on television, as well as in many movies. She and her husband, Douglas, raised their two children in Honolulu, HI, where she was an active volunteer for many years in the Christian Science Reading Room. Ann was loved by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Jenkins; She leaves behind her son, Fitzhue Jenkins; her daughter, Joanna Kualt; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood, Arizona, on Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Ann will be placed to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
